Gupi - Intelligent Robot Guinea Pig V3

Back by popular demand! GUPI is a robotised guinea pig that looks and feesl like a real one. GUPI is highly autonomous, he walks around in the house without bumping into anything, thanks to sensors in his eyes. Sensors in his legs prevent him from falling down stairs or off tables. GUPI is so smart he can also make his way out of a maze.

GUPI is very interactive, if you don't play with him he becomes lonely and scared and will seek a dark place to hide in. But if you caress him he will feel loved and he will be happy. GUPI also reacts to voices and sounds, depending on his mood. When GUPI is happy he will actually come running when you call him but if he's scared, he will run from noise. When happy, GUPI will follow a light beam so you can lead him wherever you want him to go. When GUPI gets hungry you can feed him (read: recharge his batteries), through a little carrot and then he's ready for a lot more fun!

GUPI creates the "Tamagochi"® bonding-effect. Gupi has unique identification codes in the chipsets, therefore, when other Gupis are nearby, they will express excited behaviour and will learn gradually how to accept each other, how to share "food" (battery re-loader), and how to play with each other.
